R‑Tuber is designed to be easy to start. Here are the first things to check if something isn't behaving as expected.
Why does R‑Tuber ask for microphone access?
The microphone lets your character react to your voice and, when you choose, includes your voice in the recording.
Why does R‑Tuber ask for access to Photos?
This lets you choose compatible character artwork and save/export media when you ask R‑Tuber to do so.
Where are my videos?
Completed recordings are intended to be stored on your device or saved to the location you choose. Exact steps may vary by app version.
Does R‑Tuber upload my recordings?
The planned V1 is designed around local, on-device creation rather than automatically uploading your recordings to an R‑Tuber service.
Can I use my own PNGTuber?
R‑Tuber is being built to support compatible character artwork as well as its built-in character options. Final supported formats will be confirmed at launch.
I found a bug. What should I send you?
Email hello@rtuber.co.uk with your device model, iPadOS version, R‑Tuber version and a short description of what happened. Please do not send private recordings unless we specifically ask and you are comfortable doing so.
