R‑Tuber was conceived with younger creators in mind, but it is not a social network. Its job is to help somebody make a character-led video on their own device.
What R‑Tuber does
R‑Tuber combines a PNGTuber-style character, the creator's voice and on-device screen recording so users can make gaming and creator videos without setting up a full desktop streaming system.
What we deliberately keep simple
R‑Tuber is for creating, not for putting children into a public social network.
The planned V1 does not rely on behavioural advertising.
We aim to minimise the information users need to hand over.
Permissions
R‑Tuber may need microphone, Photos/media and screen-recording permissions because those functions are central to making the video. We explain those permissions in plain language in the app and in our Privacy Policy.
Sharing videos
R‑Tuber can help create a video, but families should decide where that video is shared. If a young person uses YouTube, TikTok or another platform, that platform has its own age requirements, privacy settings and safety tools.
