1. Who we are

R‑Tuber is an app for creating PNGTuber-style videos. For privacy questions, contact hello@rtuber.co.uk.

2. Our approach

R‑Tuber is being designed so that the core creation experience happens on your device. We do not want to collect personal information simply because you use the app.

3. Permissions R‑Tuber may request

Microphone

R‑Tuber uses microphone access so your character can react while you speak and so your voice can be included when you choose to record it.

Photos / media library

R‑Tuber may request access so you can choose compatible artwork from your device and save or export recordings where you choose to do so.

Screen recording / capture

When you start a recording, the operating system may ask for permission to capture content shown on your screen. R‑Tuber uses this to create the video you asked it to record.

4. Accounts, advertising and tracking

The planned R‑Tuber V1 does not require an R‑Tuber account for the core experience and is not intended to contain third-party advertising or behavioural advertising.

5. Recordings and artwork

Your recordings and imported artwork are intended to remain on your device unless you choose to save, export or share them using device features. R‑Tuber does not operate a public social feed for user recordings.

6. Purchases

If you purchase an optional R‑Tuber feature through the App Store, Apple processes that transaction under its own terms and privacy practices. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

7. Children

R‑Tuber is designed with younger creators in mind as well as older users. We aim to minimise personal-data collection, use clear language and provide a privacy-first default experience.

8. Changes

We may update this policy when R‑Tuber changes. The current version will be published on this page with its last-updated date.
